In 2026, the Philharmonic Ensemble Orchestra (PEO) celebrates its 50th anniversary.

At the same time, violinist Takashi Nagamine, our concertmaster and a former member of the NHK Symphony Orchestra, also marks a major milestone: the 50th anniversary of his professional debut.

To commemorate this special year, a CD celebrating Mr. Nagamine’s 50-year career has been released, and on Monday, December 7, he will present a “50th Anniversary & CD Release Duo Concert” at Tokyo Opera City Recital Hall. 🎻

Joining him will be pianist #YukoHisamoto.
Fifty years of music for Takashi Nagamine.
Fifty years of music for PEO.

Following our performance in Brno, Czech Republic, in September, #KentoSatsuma will make his Tokyo debut, both conducting and performing as piano soloist.
