Congratulations! Kento Satsuma Wins First and Second Prizes at the Elevato Piano Competition!

2026年10月4日、チェコ共和国ブルノで開催された国際ピアノコンクール「Elevato Piano Competition」において、フィルハーモニックアンサンブル管弦楽団（PEO）第80回演奏会で指揮・ピアノを務める薩摩研斗氏が、ピアノ協奏曲部門で第1位、ソロ部門で第2位を受賞されました。

薩摩氏、誠におめでとうございます！

「Elevato Piano Competition」は、若手ピアニストの育成と国際的な演奏機会の創出を目的とする国際ピアノコンクールです。2026年大会はブルノで開催され、ピアノ独奏や協奏曲などの部門で演奏技術と音楽性が審査されました。

さらに薩摩氏は、2027年にイタリアのオーケストラ「Regionale Filharmonie Veneta」と、ピアノ独奏と指揮を一人で担う「弾き振り」で共演する予定です。

ピアニストとして、また指揮者として、国際的に活躍の場を広げる薩摩氏の今後のご活躍を心よりお祈り申し上げます。

11月15日（日）、薩摩研斗氏が指揮者として東京初公演！

薩摩氏は、2026年11月15日（日）にすみだトリフォニーホール 大ホールで開催するフィルハーモニックアンサンブル管弦楽団 第80回演奏会に、指揮者・ピアニストとして出演します。

本公演は、9月14日にチェコ・ブルノの歴史あるコンサートホール「Besední dům」で開催した第3回チェコ演奏会の帰京公演です。国際音楽祭「ヤング・プラハ」の公式プログラムとして開催されたチェコ公演は、チケットが完売し、終演後には満席の客席からスタンディングオベーションが送られました。

今回の東京公演では、薩摩氏がガーシュイン《ラプソディー・イン・ブルー》を弾き振りで披露します。ピアニストと指揮者、二つの才能が発揮される演奏に、ぜひご期待ください。

Furthermore, in 2027, Satsuma is scheduled to perform with the Italian orchestra Regionale Filharmonie Veneta, appearing as both pianist and conductor in a play-and-conduct performance.

Kento Satsuma to Make His Tokyo Debut as a Conductor on November 15!

On Sunday, November 15, 2026, Kento Satsuma will appear as conductor and pianist at the Philharmonic Ensemble Orchestra’s 80th Concert, to be held at Sumida Triphony Hall in Tokyo.

This concert marks the orchestra’s return to Japan following its Third Concert in the Czech Republic, held on September 14, 2026, at the historic Besední dům concert hall in Brno.

Presented as part of the official program of the Young Prague International Music Festival, the Brno concert was completely sold out and concluded with a standing ovation from the audience.

At the upcoming Tokyo performance, Satsuma will both conduct and perform the piano solo in Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue, showcasing his talents as both pianist and conductor.
