フィルハーモニックアンサンブル管弦楽団（PEO）は、2027年9月5日（日）、東京芸術劇場コンサートホールにおいて、第82回演奏会を開催いたします。

　本公演では、日本を代表する指揮者・尾高忠明氏と、2025年プラハの春国際音楽コンクール・チェロ部門でアジア人初優勝を果たし、国際的な活躍を続けるチェリスト・水野優也氏を迎えます。両氏は当団とは初共演となります。水野氏は国内外の主要オーケストラとの共演を重ね、次代を担うチェリストとして高い評価を得ています。

　前半では、チェロ協奏曲の最高峰と称されるドヴォルザーク《チェロ協奏曲》を演奏。祖国への郷愁と深い人間愛に満ちた名作を、水野氏の瑞々しい感性と確かな技巧でお届けします。

　後半には、R.シュトラウスの壮大な交響詩《英雄の生涯》を演奏。大編成オーケストラが描く壮麗な響きと緻密なドラマを、尾高氏の指揮のもとでお届けします。

Japan’s Maestro Tadaaki Otaka and Rising Star Cellist Yuya Mizuno Make Their PEO Debut Together — 82nd Subscription Concert

The Philharmonic Ensemble Orchestra (PEO) is pleased to announce its 82nd Subscription Concert, to be held on Sunday, September 5, 2027, at the Concert Hall of Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre.

The concert will feature two distinguished artists making their first appearances with PEO: Conductor Tadaaki Otaka, one of Japan’s most eminent conductors, and cellist Yuya Mizuno, the first Asian musician to win First Prize in the Cello Division of the 2025 Prague Spring International Music Competition, who has since established an impressive international career. Widely acclaimed as one of the most promising cellists of his generation, Mizuno has performed with leading orchestras both in Japan and abroad.

The first half of the program presents Antonín Dvořák’s Cello Concerto in B minor, Op. 104, widely regarded as one of the greatest works ever written for the instrument. Combining profound lyricism, nostalgia for the composer’s homeland, and deep humanity, this masterpiece will be brought to life through Mizuno’s expressive artistry and remarkable virtuosity.

In the second half, Maestro Otaka leads the orchestra in Richard Strauss’s monumental tone poem Ein Heldenleben, Op. 40. Renowned for its magnificent orchestration, sweeping scale, and rich dramatic narrative, the work showcases the full brilliance of a large symphony orchestra.
