On July 1, 1976, the Philharmonic Ensemble Orchestra (PEO) was born.

1976.7.1 ― PEO結成50周年

1976年7月1日。
フィルハーモニックアンサンブル管弦楽団（PEO）は、この日、産声を上げました。
結成から今日で、ちょうど50年。

この半世紀の歩みは、決して平坦なものではありませんでした。
練習場所の確保、演奏会の運営、資金集め、そして海外公演への挑戦。
一つひとつの演奏会は、多くの団員と、支えてくださる皆様の力によって積み重ねられてきました。

PEOが何より大切にしてきたのは、響きの良いホールで音楽を奏でること、そして音楽を通して人と人とのつながりを育むことです。
演奏を通して新たな出会いが生まれ、そのご縁が次の挑戦へとつながる。
国内外で活躍する多くの音楽家との共演や交流も、その一つひとつが信頼の積み重ねによって実現してきました。

そして、その歩みの先には海外公演という夢がありました。
アメリカ、オーストリア、チェコ。
異国の地で演奏し、音楽が国境を越えて人と人をつなぐことを実感してきました。

2026年。
結成50周年という節目の年、9月に第3回チェコ演奏会、11月に東京での帰京演奏会を開催します。
ブルノの歴史あるベセドニー・ドゥームで、日本とチェコを音楽で結ぶ新たな一歩を踏み出します。
50年の歴史は、過去を振り返るためだけにあるものではありません。

これまで支えてくださったすべての皆様への感謝を胸に、未来へ向かって歩み続けるための新たなスタートです。
これからもフィルハーモニックアンサンブル管弦楽団は、響きの良いホールで音楽を届け、人と人をつなぎ、新たな挑戦を続けてまいります。

On July 1, 1976, the Philharmonic Ensemble Orchestra (PEO) was born.Today, we proudly celebrate the 50th anniversary of our founding.The past half century has never been an easy journey.

Finding rehearsal spaces, organizing concerts, raising funds, and taking on the challenge of performing abroad—every step has been made possible through the dedication of our members and the generous support of so many people.

What PEO has always valued most is performing in halls with exceptional acoustics and creating meaningful connections through music.Every concert has brought new encounters, and each encounter has opened the door to new opportunities.Through trust built over many years, we have been fortunate to collaborate with outstanding musicians from Japan and around the world.Beyond these experiences lay an even greater dream: performing overseas.From the United States to Austria, and now to the Czech Republic, we have discovered that music truly transcends borders and brings people together.

In 2026, our 50th anniversary year, PEO will present its third concert tour in the Czech Republic.Performing at the historic Besední dům in Brno, we hope to strengthen the friendship between Japan and the Czech Republic through the universal language of music.Fifty years is not only a milestone to look back on, but also the beginning of a new chapter.

With heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has supported us throughout these years, we look forward to continuing our journey into the future.The Philharmonic Ensemble Orchestra will remain committed to bringing people together through music, performing in halls with beautiful acoustics, and embracing new challenges for many years to come.Thank you for your continued support.
